I am proud to be standing as a candidate in the Uxbridge and South Ruislip by-election on 20th July.

I am an actor, and not a politician – I don’t want to be a politician.  But after my appearance on Question Time in 2020, I was denounced by the actors’ union Equity for saying Britain was a warm and tolerant society.  I was socially, culturally and economically cancelled.  Overnight, I lost my 22-years career … for something I said.

When freedom of speech is threatened to that degree, I knew I had to take a stand – which is why I set up the Reclaim Party.  Democracy cannot work if small groups of noisy, unelected minorities have the power to shut down people with ideas and thoughts they do not like.

Except this encroachment on freedom of speech is now everywhere – in every institution: in universities, where speakers are de-platformed; in the NHS, where they no longer have women but pregnant people and chest-feeders; but it’s in schools where I am most concerned.

With the evilness of cancel culture, these encroachments on freedom of speech and common sense are left completely unchallenged and unchecked.

How, then, do we stop any of this?  Not by voting Conservative, as it is this government which has presided over all these encroachments on the rights and liberties of the individual, nor will it be changed by any of the other parties, as in this regard they are even worse.

This is why I am a candidate in the Uxbridge and South Ruislip by-election.  I have decided to take a stand.  But I can’t do it alone.  I need the support of right-thinking citizens who want to reclaim our freedom of speech, tolerance of other people’s views and our democracy.

Our children are being told the end of the world is nigh because of the so-called climate crisis, and they are being socially transitioned into a range of genders and pronouns.  Teaching contested theories like these is not education, but indoctrination.  Far worse, schools are doing all this without parental consent, and so are launching a direct attack on the sanctity of the family.

Uxbridge And South Ruislip Poll

Britain is an optimistic and outward looking country. Britain should be proud of its history and cultural heritage, not ashamed of it.

Instead, our children are being taught to hate our history and that women can have penises.

The future of this country and its sovereignty belongs to the people. They should not be subject to treaties signed thousands of miles away, which no Briton has voted for.

Uxbridge and South Ruislip deserves better.

Reclaim seeks to represent the best interests of British people. Reclaim wants a prosperous future for our children.
